Did you know that as a network marketer you can create a corporation for your business? Just because you are representing another company doesn’t mean you can’t incorporate yourself.
Why should you incorporate your business?
1. Protect Yourself from Liability
This is the number one reason to incorporate your business. If you value your personal assets, you need to incorporate. Without incorporating, business creditors can use your personal residence and personal bank accounts to satisfy business debts or lawsuits against the business. The reason business creditors cannot reach your personal assets when incorporated is because an incorporated business and its owners are separate entities. Continue reading
Anybody inquiring about network marketing, here are the top 5 questions:
1. Do I need to be a salesperson to do this?
Not at all. Some of the most successful network marketers were teachers, doctors, engineers, clerks, and others. If you do network marketing correctly, you are not selling, but rather sharing the company with others. If you would like to know how not to sell click here: Prospect Professionally
2. Can I actually make money at network marketing?
Like any other business venture, some will make money, some won’t. It all depends on how much time and effort you put into it. The key to doing well in network marketing is finding a successful mentor that has a very easy duplicable system whether it is online or offline or both. Continue reading

Simply, blogging lets people get to know, like and trust you. This in turn will make them want to partner up with you in your network marketing business.
What do you blog about? As you learn about network marketing online by reading other blogs, share what you have learned in a post. Don’t wait till you have learned it all before posting because that could take a while. Post as you go! Continue reading
I just read somewhere that you can’t build a relationship online. I definitely have a different opinion on this.
Of course you can build a relationship online. Think of all those dating sites like eharmony.com or plentyoffish.com, not to mention chat rooms and ads online. The advantage to using the internet for finding your soul mate is the amount of people using the internet. So instead of finding your mate in a big city of 1 million people, you are exposing yourself to hundreds of millions of people thereby increasing your odds of finding that right person. The internet also makes it easier to find people with common interests – meetup.com for example. People actually get married from these sites. I know of this first hand and you can ask me about it.
The majority of people who don’t join all have the same reason – “I just don’t think that it will work for me.” Why not?
Time – For people who say they don’t have the time because they’re working 60+ hours a week need this the most. What they need to realize is this is like a part-time job but its better because they can earn an income that can surpass their full-time job freeing up more time to spend with loved ones and other interests. They just need to prioritize their time and to make a full commitment to succeeding. Continue reading
How many times has someone told you they will follow up with you and never do? What do you think of that person then? Unprofessional, a flake? This is why it’s so important for you to follow up with that person when you say you will. It shows you’re committed and will be there to support your new business partner when they decide to join you. Continue reading
Do you avoid talking to your friends and family about your new business opportunity? I could write about how to get over that, which I will in another post, but fortunately there is another way to share your business opportunity. It is called Professional Prospecting.
Professional Prospecting is taking the business approach to people you don’t know, i.e. cold market. There is nothing wrong with starting your business this way and then going back to your friends and family afterwards. In fact, this approach is probably recommended for new network marketers. Better to practice on people you don’t know and don’t know you. Obviously if you live in a small town, you will have to go outside of your town to approach the cold market. Continue reading
Did you know that 4 out of 5 successful network marketers are women? Being a man that really surprised me because I thought network marketing was about business and men are usually the more business minded. But it made me realize why that fact is true.
Don’t get me wrong, network marketing is still a business but looking at the first word, ahead of “marketing” is “network” which should give you an obvious clue. Are women better networkers than men? Continue reading
When you started with a network marketing company, you were so excited about the company; you just couldn’t wait to share it with everyone. But when you approached people, you basically threw up on them with all the information about the company and products or services which unfortunately turns a lot of people off. Think of how you would feel if someone did that to you. Yeah, it’s not so pleasant. Less is more. Although enthusiasm is great to have, you need to tone it down a notch or two but keep that smile! Why does MLM or network marketing have such a bad rap?
Some people call it a pyramid scheme. I assure you it’s not. A true pyramid scheme is where money changes hands with no product or service to go with it. All network marketing companies have a product or service to sell. If they are referring to the shape of the organization when built, doesn’t a traditional business look very similar in shape? You betcha! Continue reading
