When you started with a network marketing company, you were so excited about the company; you just couldn’t wait to share it with everyone. But when you approached people, you basically threw up on them with all the information about the company and products or services which unfortunately turns a lot of people off. Think of how you would feel if someone did that to you. Yeah, it’s not so pleasant. Less is more. Although enthusiasm is great to have, you need to tone it down a notch or two but keep that smile! Why does MLM or network marketing have such a bad rap?
Some people call it a pyramid scheme. I assure you it’s not. A true pyramid scheme is where money changes hands with no product or service to go with it. All network marketing companies have a product or service to sell. If they are referring to the shape of the organization when built, doesn’t a traditional business look very similar in shape? You betcha! Continue reading
Pay per click or other paid online advertising does add up rather quickly and gets very expensive. There is an excellent way to pay for those expenses and even come out ahead by actually making some money. It’s called the Funded Proposal!
The funded sponsored proposal, also known as funded sponsoring proposal is a rather new way to build a network marketing business. Continue reading
You joined a network marketing company and your sponsors told you to make out a list of all of your friends and family. So you tried calling them and it’s not working quite like you wanted it to. In the past 2o+ years, I’ve done a few of these network marketing companies and they all taught the same thing – make your list and call your family and friends, the 3 foot rule, hanging flyers, and attend meetings.
I reluctantly made my calls and got a lot of voicemails. When I finally got to talk to someone, all I got was questions and skepticism. It felt so unnatural and horrible.
So the next thing they taught was to approach total strangers. Yeah, this was going to be fun. This was so uncomfortable; I cringe every time I thought about doing it. Continue reading
Are Some Things Just Too Good to Be True?
In the current financial environment the idea of making money quickly and easily, with no special skills or big investment is very appealing. Add in a residual income to promise financial independence for the future and it’s a potential winner. There has been great success with this type of marketing and distribution structure – i.e. Avon, Mary Kay, Shaklee and others. The downside, of course, is to try to sell to friends and family. How do you know if it is a legit business? Or just another scam? Continue reading
Here are the benefits of network marketing.
Work From Home
One of the best advantages of network marketing is being able to work out of the comfort of your home. This is especially great for moms or dads that want to spend more time with their kids. No more commuting in rush hour traffic means more time and less stress. Also less gas expense and wear and tear on your vehicle. Additionally there is no need to lease an office space.
Whatever time you have, you can start this business part-time or full-time. You have full control of when and where you would like to do your business. Once you are earning the income you need or desire from network marketing, then you are rewarded with spending as much time as you want with your family, to travel and make wonderful memories. Another way to look at it is for consumers to buy directly from the manufacturer or company. Some examples include Avon, Mary Kay, Shaklee, Herbalife, Monavie, Visalus and Pre-Paid Legal (now called Legal Shield). Continue reading
